Grades 5-8 Summer Reading Requirements

In an effort to build community and foster peer discussions in the fall, the language arts teachers in grades 5-8 have chosen two books for incoming students to read. Students are only required to read one of the options but are welcome to read both.

In the fall, teachers will use summer reading books as a way to review skills from the previous year as well as discuss important themes in the chosen novels. CLICK HERE to view the summer reading choices for the 2019 -2020 school year.
