Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) Program:
Children identified as eligible for P-EBT based on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) received their P-EBT benefits on their SNAP EBT card on May 29. If a child is eligible for P-EBT based on SNAP but was not matched to their SNAP account, the child will receive a P-EBT card in the mail mid-June. This may happen because of variances in the child’s school record and SNAP record or if the child is eligible through extended direct certification benefits. Children identified as eligible for P-EBT through an income eligibility application or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) also will receive a P-EBT card in the mail mid-June.
