In May of 2011 Kelly was interviewed and appointed to the North Ridgeville School Board. In November of that same year Kelly was elected to fill the unexpired remaining term for that particular seat on the school board. In November 2013 Kelly was elected to her first four year term on the Board. Kelly proudly serves as an active member of the North Ridgeville Lions Club.
Kelly's passion is quality education for all students. She supports an educational environment that is safe and academically challenging. Kelly believes an educational system needs to be built on mutual respect for staff, faculty, students, community and the administration. Every child should be encouraged to reach their fullest potential and the school system should have the means to provide for the best quality for their students.
