Frank Vacha, a devoted resident of North Ridgeville for the past 27 years, serves as the School Board President. His journey in this community has been marked by a commitment to family, public service, and a profound passion for the well-being of children.
Frank’s home life is a testament to his dedication to family values. He is happily married to Jackie, and together they have raised a beautiful family of four sons: Tyler, Justin, Tony, and Jacob. The family has grown with the addition of three wonderful daughters-in-law – Grace, Makayla, and Kait – and four delightful grandchildren: Avianna (7), Eli (5), Zeke (4), and Evelyn (2).
Professionally, Frank has played a crucial role in the community's infrastructure for the past 12 years, where he has been at the forefront of sewer vac operations for North Ridgeville. This hands-on experience has not only contributed to the community's development but has also given him a unique perspective on the needs of its residents.
Frank’s commitment to education is evident in his 16-year tenure as a dedicated school board member. His involvement is not merely administrative; it is deeply rooted in a passion for positively impacting the lives of children. Over the years, he has worn many hats in the service of young minds – from coaching and teaching Sunday school to serving as a youth director and working closely with at-risk youth.
In his own words, Frank expresses his love for North Ridgeville, stating, "I love this community and can't imagine living anywhere else. I will work tirelessly for the kids of our community."

Kelly McCarthy, a resident of North Ridgeville for over four decades, is a seasoned academic professional and a passionate advocate for education and community development. Currently serving as the Vice President of the North Ridgeville School Board, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role.
As an Academic Advisor at Lorain County Community College, Kelly is deeply committed to guiding students towards success in their educational journeys. Her extensive knowledge and expertise in academic advising contribute to the growth and achievement of students at the community college level.
Kelly's commitment to education extends beyond her professional life. With an impressive 13 years of service on the North Ridgeville School Board, she has played a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape of the community.
In addition to her role on the school board, Kelly has been actively involved in various community initiatives. Her volunteer work spans across numerous PTO and booster groups over the years, showcasing her dedication to the overall well-being of the community. She has served on influential boards such as the Lorain County JVS School Board, contributing to the broader educational framework.
Kelly's commitment to community service is further evident through her involvement in civic organizations. She has been an integral part of the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Endowment Funds Committee, and Citizens for Better Schools, working tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for North Ridgeville residents.

Marci Saxon, a devoted resident of North Ridgeville for the past 15 years, has established herself as a steadfast advocate for education within the community. A loving wife to Craig and a proud mother of twins Max and Rose, Marci brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as a dedicated member of the North Ridgeville School Board.
Marci's journey in education began as an Instructor of Music at Cuyahoga Community College, where she imparted her love for music to eager learners. She later transitioned to General Music Teacher for grades PreK-8, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of young students in their formative years. Marci also contributed to the cultural development of the community as a Preschool Music Teacher for North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation. Presently, she serves as a freelance music director while embracing the role of a stay-at-home mom, demonstrating her commitment to both her family and her passion for education.
Since 2013, Marci has been an integral part of the North Ridgeville School Board, where she works to enhance the educational experience for students. Marci has served as the membership chair of the band boosters, lent her support to the drama club, and currently holds the position of Chair of the NRHS Academic Recognition Committee. She is also the board liaison to the Endowment Funds Committee, and plays a crucial role in securing resources to support educational programs and initiatives. Marci's dedication is further exemplified by her active role in various community-based organizations, ensuring that the schools receive the support they need to thrive.

Jeff Grigsby, a dedicated resident of North Ridgeville for over two decades, is not only a devoted family man but also a passionate advocate for education and community development. Married to his high school sweetheart, Cathy, Jeff is the proud father of two children, Emma and Sam, both of whom have benefited from the excellent education provided by North Ridgeville City Schools.
Professionally, Jeff serves as a Server Administrator at Cleveland State University, contributing his skills and expertise to the university's technological infrastructure for nearly 24 years. His commitment to education extends beyond his professional life, as evidenced by his two-year tenure on the North Ridgeville School Board.
In addition to his role on the school board, Jeff has actively participated in various Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) for a decade. His involvement in the PTAs reflects his dedication to fostering a strong connection between parents, teachers, and the school community.
Jeff goes above and beyond by sharing his passion for athletics with the community. As an assistant coach for the high school track team, he imparts his knowledge and skills in coaching shot put and discus. His commitment to the development of students extends beyond the classroom, emphasizing the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals.
Through his multifaceted involvement in education, community service, and athletics, he continues to make a positive impact on the North Ridgeville community. David Hanes is a dedicated and community-oriented individual who brings a passion for education to the North Ridgeville School Board. David has been a proud resident of North Ridgeville for the past 13 years, where he has actively contributed to the community's development.
A committed family man, David has shared 28 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Lisa. Together, they have raised two daughters, Anna and Lizy. David's family values and commitment to the well-being of the community are evident in his decision to step into the realm of education and public service.
A proud Navy veteran, David's service to his country has instilled in him a sense of duty and discipline, qualities that he now channels into his role as a school board member. His commitment to excellence, learned through military service, is a driving force in his efforts to enhance the educational experience for North Ridgeville students.
