Re-enrolling at NRCS

If/when students return from home education, our goal is a smooth transition and accurate placement.

Steps:

1. Complete standard New/Returning Student Enrollment.
2. Provide portfolios, or annual assessments, however this information is extremely helpful to include.
3. We schedule brief diagnostic check‑ins (reading, writing, math) to identify strengths and gaps - used to guide placement and supports, not for grading.
4. If gaps are identified, we will place your child  appropriately and provide intervention if needed.

Returning students are placed in an appropriate grade without discrimination. Diagnostics help us tailor support so students thrive.
