State/Local Testing (optional)

NRCS offers access to certain standardized assessments by request. Registration deadlines and seats are limited.

  • Eligibility: Resident home‑educated students with a current-year notification on file.
  • Registration: Complete the Testing Request (Online) by the posted deadline.
  • Logistics: Testing may occur during the school day at designated locations.
  • Costs: State tests covered by NRCS; fees may apply for select local assessments.
  • Accommodations: Available per documented needs and test-publisher rules.
  • Results: Provided directly to families.
     

Extracurriculars & Activities

Home‑educated students may participate in nonacademic activities (e.g., athletics per OHSAA eligibility, clubs, music) consistent with Board policy. Contact the building activity coordinator for details and indicate this on the online Notification form.
