New student registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open.

After you have completed the online registration process, please have these documents ready to upload with your online form or you may call our Central Registration Office at (440) 353-6792 to schedule an enrollment appointment, or email documents to registration@nrcs.net. You must complete the online process first before providing documentation to North Ridgeville City Schools.
Registration is NOT complete until you have turned in all applicable documents. Below is the list of forms described in the registration requirements forms. Please print all applicable forms.
- Student Release of Records
- Custody Form
- Custody Pending Form
- Court Placement Form
- Residency Affidavit
- Two proofs of North Ridgeville residency
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Photo Identification for Parent/Guardian
- Custody papers (if applicable)
- Academic Records including IEP/ETR (if applicable)
- Immunization Records*
*Students entering seventh grade must complete the Certificate of Immunization. Students entering 12th grade must complete the Meningococcal Vaccination Requirement.
*Incoming student-athletes must complete the High School Athletic Transfer Form.
If parents are divorced: The parent with legal custody must present a certified copy of the court order awarding legal custody. If a custody change is pending, the non-custodial parent must present a dated, time-stamped copy of the court filing, showing the motion for the change of custody. The non-custodial parent is then given 60 days to present a certified copy of the final decree.
For enrollment, we do require a copy of the child's birth certificate. If born in Ohio, you can get one printed at the Lorain County Public Health Department for $25. You can visit their website at LorainCountyHealth.com or visit the office at 9880 S. Murray Ridge Road in Elyria between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday.
