Supporting Every Student, Every Day

At North Ridgeville City Schools, we believe that every day of learning matters. Regular school attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success. We recognize that every family's circumstances are unique, and our goal is to partner with parents and caregivers to support students in attending school consistently. When challenges arise, our staff is here to help identify solutions, connect families with resources, and work together so every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

We value our partnership with families and recognize that maintaining consistent attendance can be challenging at times. Our goal is to work together to support students, celebrate positive attendance habits, and provide assistance when barriers arise.

As part of our commitment to student success, we monitor attendance patterns and communicate with families early when concerns emerge. Parents will receive a letter when their child has missed 4% of the total instructional hours.  Through a tiered support system, we provide increasing levels of support designed to help students stay engaged and connected to school.  Please remember that Medically Excused Absences are no longer exempt from the total percentage of hours absent
